Our Mission
Hi, my name is Karen Mathews. I am the owner and head coach of the High Desert AcroBrats Recreational and Competitive Gymnastics Training Facility. I have been involved in gymnastics since the age of 6, and I have been coaching for over 40 years. My goal is to build a sense of confidence, self-esteem, and strength through training in every child who enters into my program. I feel this is best accomplished through a fun learning experience.
We are proud to offer our unique training program here at AcroBrats. This is a progressive and motivational curriculum that is used to achieve more student accomplishments and class advancement. All students are assessed on an ongoing basis and periodically moved up according to individual ability. As an added bonus, all registered AcroBrats (regardless of age or level) are offered the opportunity to perform at various shows, parades and events through the High Desert area.
